Natural Devon coastal sea glass fills this delicate filigree silver plated locket to be worn as a reminder of happy days spent by the sea.
The locket is named after a legend of a mermaid who fell in love with a sailor who drowned and she was banished to the depths of the ocean by Neptune. Her tears are said to be pieces of sea glass which are washed up on the seashore by the tides.
The sea glass inside this locket is pale aqua but it can be customised with any colour of your choice – choose from white, aqua, dark or light green, brown or ultramarine blue. The locket measures 28mm long to the top of the bail and hangs on an 18” silver plated snake chain. The necklace will be sent to you in a gift box.. Treasures Of Exmoor is a beautiful range of silver plated and solid copper wire work incorporating sea glass, gemstones and beaded jewellery inspired by the colours and beachcombing finds of Exmoor, created by Helen Purrington.
